Open Kick security
Sign in and open your Kick security settings. Choose Enable 2FA to display the enrollment code.
Add Kick to Sign In
You can use Sign In, our authenticator app for codes on your iPhone.
- With the setup QR code on another screen, open Sign In and tap Add → Scan QR Code.
- Scan the code, review the account details, and tap Add Account.
- Select Continue Setup on Kick, enter the current six-digit code, and choose Continue Setup again.
Kick supports manual entry as well as scanning. Copy the setup key if Sign In is on the same iPhone. In Sign In, choose Add → Enter Setup Key, set Service to Kick and Account to your account name, paste the secret into Key, then tap Add Account. Keep this key private.
Keep recovery information accessible
If Kick provides backup codes during setup, copy them and store them securely outside your phone. Kick’s troubleshooting guidance describes using a backup code in place of an unavailable authenticator code.
Before changing phones, retain the working authenticator and an active session while reviewing the replacement process.
If you lose the authenticator
Try an unused backup code. If you have no working code, use Kick’s official account-recovery guidance below. Contact support from your account email where possible; Kick must verify ownership and may not be able to restore access.
Text-message availability
Kick’s account-safety overview mentions SMS, but its authenticator setup guide does not provide SMS enrollment steps. Only rely on text messages if that option is available and configured on your account.
If a code does not work
Make sure the Kick entry in Sign In matches the account you are using. Wait for a fresh code, then enter it before it changes. If fresh codes keep failing, check that your iPhone uses automatic date and time.
Keep a working sign-in session and your recovery information available while resolving the problem. Adding an entry to Sign In does not finish enrollment: the service must accept a code and confirm activation.
