Find the authenticator setting
Sign in to Ubisoft Account Management and open the account’s security settings. Find 2-Step Verification and choose the authenticator-app option.
Complete the phone-number and email checks shown for your account. Screen labels may differ; use the official help below if the option is missing.
Add Ubisoft to Sign In
Use Sign In, our authenticator app, for codes on your iPhone.
- If the service displays an enrollment QR code on another screen, open Sign In and tap Add → Scan QR Code.
- If it offers a setup key instead, choose Add → Enter Setup Key. Label Service as Ubisoft and Account with your account name, then paste the secret into Key.
- Review the entry and tap Add Account.
- Enter the current code back on Ubisoft and complete the activation prompts. Confirm that two-step verification is enabled.
Keep the setup key private. If you only have one iPhone and no manual key is offered, open the enrollment page on a second screen.
Save recovery information
Save the recovery codes provided during enrollment somewhere secure outside your phone. Keep access to your account email and registered phone number, and retain your existing authenticator until a replacement works.
If your codes are unavailable
Use an available recovery code or follow Ubisoft’s account-access help. You can contact Ubisoft Support without a verification or recovery code; it will need to verify ownership before changing the account.
Email verification
Ubisoft also offers two-step verification by email. If you choose that method, protect the email account itself and keep it accessible.
If a code does not work
Make sure the Ubisoft entry in Sign In matches the account you are using. Wait for a fresh code, then enter it before it changes. If fresh codes keep failing, check that your iPhone uses automatic date and time.
Keep a working sign-in session and your recovery information available while resolving the problem. Adding an entry to Sign In does not finish enrollment: the service must accept a code and confirm activation.
